Driving Lessons
Last Monday we went driving. We were all pretty excited to learn how to drive. We were split into two different groups. My group chose to do the theory test first which was quite hard. You are asked 40 questions from an option of over 800. We also played a few games to do with road safety.
After lunch it was our turn to start driving. Ellie, Sarah, Clodagh and I were in a car together. Ellie went first and we couldnt stop laughing because she was going so slow. The man in the car was very helpful. I thought driving would be really hard but after a while we got the hang of it. I really enjoyed the day and i would like to start doing lessons to get my provisional.

Jabba Jabba Djembe
Last Thursday all of class Aurora had percussion. We spent the whole day in the library playing kettledrums, bongos and djembe. These are all different types of drums. A man called Dave came in to teach us all about these different drums and how to play them. He went to Africa to different communities to learn about the djembe as that's where it comes from. I felt as a class we all got involved and we all tried out the different instruments. I really enjoyed the day and I learned a lot of new things.Thursday, 26 February 2015
Work Experience #3
For my third placement I work in Scoil Naomh BrĂd along with Molly, Eimear and Alison. I start work at 9:10 and finish at 2:50 every Wednesday. I was put into Ms.McKeon's senior infant class. I spent the day helping them with different activities. I had to sit at a table and supervise what they were doing and I also had to organise their art work into different folders. After lunch Molly, Eimear and I had to help out Ms. O'Brien. We had to colour in different pictures and laminate them for her. I didnt think I would like it but really enjoyed working my old primary school.I would consider teaching in a primary school in the future.
Mini Comapny
On thursday everyone had to present their mini company to the judges. At 9.05 everyone went to the hall to set up their display of their product and to put up posters. The judges came around and looked at everyones display then one by one we would present our company. We were the second group to present which i didnt mind as we could get it out of the way. I felt a bit nervous as I had to speak infront of all my year and the judges. I talked about the finance and the money we made as I am the finance manager. As a group I thought we all spoke well and we all knew what to say.
After everyone was finished presenting their projects, the winners were announced. Bam beauity and iprotect were the two teams that got through to the county final. There were other awards such as best display and many more. Overall I did enjoy mini company and all my team worked really well together. I learned that theres a alot of hard work to be put into starting a business but the best part is making a profit at the end!

Work Experience
I started my second work experience in the chemistry labs in maynooth college. I start work at 9.15 every Wednesday. Every week i do something different. The past few weeks there has been LC students doing experiments in the lab so i would help out and watch them do the experiments. On Wednesday there were two other Ty students in with me. There was not a lot to do on Wednesday only a few small jobs. I find it quite interesting and I am learning a lot.
